The "Swiss Army Knife" for Ambisonics in Spatial Audio Production. AmbiToolbox is an upcoming unified ambisonics utility suite built specifically for macOS.
Working with Ambisonics often involves workflow bottlenecks, such as opening heavy DAWs for simple formatting tasks or memorizing complex FFmpeg arguments in the command line. AmbiToolbox addresses these issues by allowing audio engineers to process, convert, and quality-control spatial audio assets in a standalone environment.

Instant Quality Control (Ambix2Bin): Render a binaural downmix to check a mix on headphones without loading a DAW session. It features built-in Neumann KU100 and KEMAR HRTF profiles.

Apple Ecosystem Delivery (Ambix2APAC & Ambix2CAF): Encode master files directly into Apple's Spatial Audio Codec (APAC) or CAF containers for visionOS and Apple hardware.

Web & VR Optimization (Ambix2Opus): Compress high-order Ambisonics into Opus formats with correct channel mapping (Family 2). The interface allows for direct target bitrate selection per channel.

Stereo to Ambisonics Upmixing (Stereo2Ambix): Convert standard 2-channel stereo audio into high-order Ambisonics using adaptive PCA. Users can adjust parameters like "Stage Width" and "3D Envelopment" via dedicated sliders.

Format Management (AmbiSwap & AmbiRotate): Swap between AmbiX and FuMa formats to resolve channel order discrepancies without data loss. Additionally, apply real-time 3-axis rotation (Yaw/Pitch/Roll) to correct microphone orientation before committing to a render.
